Mondays–V5E42c–Florida Vacay Day Four

It’s day four of my Florida vacation with my son and his family. It sounds funny, but yesterday was the first time I got in the water. I don’t like cold water so much I spend most of the time in a lawn chair (sand chair?) reading a book or just watching the pelicans.

I decided I wanted to share my beach time with The Great Hunter so I called him and told him how to use the video feature on the phone. I don’t normally do video chat. I don’t want people to know what I’m doing while I’m on the phone (like cleaning, computer work, and/or bathroom duty).

Not only did I get to share the ocean view with the Great Hunter, but I also got to talk to my girls. It wasn’t much of a conversation, mostly just me saying “Millie, Dolly” to see them stick their nose up to the phone and wonder how the heck the Great Hunter got me in that little box.

One of the things that I really wanted to do was the Sunset Dolphin cruise. We could occasionally see the dolphins surfacing from the beach at our condo, but this tour almost guaranteed to see dolphins. The Dolphin Cruise left from St. Andrews State Park in Panama City. It’s a beautiful park with great camping facilities. We boarded the boat and headed out of the park into St. Andrews Bay and then into the Gulf for an hour-long tour. We did get to see dolphins surfacing amid the beautiful sunset.
