Just a reminder for today…stop and smell the roses and look for the rainbow at the end of the storm.

When I wrote last week, whining about my dental problems, I ended the post by saying that I know there are many people whose problems are much worse than mine. This was almost a prophetic statement as I learned the next day that a dear friend of mine (since first grade) had been diagnosed (again!) with cancer. She’s beaten it twice, but now she has to endure the surgery and chemo and everything else that goes along with treating it. I’m so blessed and am praying for her and several others I know who are dealing with this horrible disease.
