Mondays–V6E34–Last Week of August

I am so not ready to give up summer. I’m not crazy about 100+ ° temperatures, but it’s downhill from here on out. I look at my calendar for the next two months, and it is already filling up. I got very ambitious and signed up for exercise classes at the Rec Plex for three mornings a week for September and October. We have trips planned for both September (four days in Branson) and October–me (seven days in Gulf Shores), not to mention hosting Book Club and all the different fall festivals that are happening.  So why am I complaining (other than I complain alot–lol)? Time goes by so fast.

I got nothing for the blog this week. Every day was just ordinary. Church, Grandson’s soccer game, Book Club, Quilt Guild, Haircut, Hematologist appointment and Pulmonologist appointment. And speaking of the “ologists” appointments, both doctors have strongly encouraged me to start using my sleep apnea device again. Sigh.

I gave up using it last year after I realized that it caused the misalignment of my jaw, which caused me to bite my tongue and cheek almost every time I ate. Late last fall, I decided to give it a try again. On the second day after wearing it, I developed the first of two infections in the jaw tooth that I believe was cracked by the sleep dentist. When he did the original fitting, the appliance got stuck on that very same tooth. The dentist couldn’t get it off and ultimately, he ended up pulling the crown off my tooth when the appliance finally came unstuck. I had to have that tooth pulled in July and its healed up now, so I have no excuse other than I don’t want to wear it.

But, I will. (Maybe). Stay tuned.
