Day Seven of my healing process. I went this morning and got my temporary handicapped placard for the card. I sort of hated to do it; my god, me, handicapped! But it was also a blessing knowing that when I venture out to the stores, I won’t have to walk all the way across the parking lot before I even get into the store. Maybe I can drive one of those little carts, after all, I do have my motorcycle license. I’m already tired of being almost immobile but any length of time on my foot and it begins to hurt alot. I still have almost no feeling in my first toe. That’s the toe that looks like it was almost cut off and then sewn back on. It’s got good color, so that’s a good thing.
I had my daughter come over again today and change my bandage. She brought my granddaughter with her and I warned Megan before Jennifer took all the bandages of that it looks really bad. Megan watched up she definitely had a horror look on her face. She then said she needed some money to help pay for her book fine at the library, so I told her I could put her to work vacuuming and mopping my floors tomorrow. That’s a win-win.
